Marvellous Mashed Potatoes

Serves 8

A little twist on a classic side dish.

Ingredients:

9 potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 cup unsalted butter
12 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place diced potatoes in a large saucepan. Fill with water to cover potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer until tender. Drain water.
  2. Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Cut butter and cream cheese into small pieces and add to the potatoes. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the sour cream. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
