Hot and Spicy Chicken Rigatoni

Serves 8
Turning up the heat.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1 1/2 tablespoons crushed red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped |
1 cup marinara sauce |
3/4 cup Alfredo sauce |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 lb rigatoni pasta |
Parmesan cheese, for topping |
Directions:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside until the sauce is ready.
- In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and season with crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper. Saute until the garlic begins to caramelize.
- Add in the chicken and stir together. Cook until chicken is cooked through.
- Pour in the marinara and alfredo sauce. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the butter and incorporate into sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Stir to coat the noodles.
- Garnish with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
