Baked Taco Pockets

Serves 8
A yummy twist on a classic.
Ingredients:
1 packet taco seasoning mix |
2/3 cup water |
1 lb lean ground beef |
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese |
1 tube refrigerated southern-style biscuits |
Directions:
- Grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375° F.
- In a medium saucepan, combine ground beef, taco seasoning mix and water. Cook on medium heat until beef if cooked through.
- Separate each biscuit and gently flatten and press out with a large spoon. Arrange biscuits on the cookie sheet. Spoon 1/3 cup meat mixture and 1 tablespoon cheese onto center of each round. Fold dough in half over filling and press to seal. Make 3 small cuts in top of each biscuit pocket.
- Place in oven and bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
