Serves 8

Mouthwatering, tender perfection.

Ingredients:

3 lb beef brisket
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
1 cup water
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
1 bottle BBQ sauce, 18 oz.

Directions:

  1. Place the beef brisket in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin and thyme leaves over the brisket. Evenly coat the brisket in the seasoning.
  2. Pour the water into slow cooker. Place the beef brisket into the slow cooker. Pour the Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke on top of brisket. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set to low to cook for 8 hours.
  3. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and place on a large platter. Slice off the fat from the brisket then shred with two forks.
