Baked Ricotta Chicken





Serves 4
The right balance of savory, creamy, and cheesy.
Ingredients:
| Canola oil, for greasing |
| 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts |
| 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning |
| 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese |
| 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley |
| 1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
| 1 teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1 cup ricotta cheese |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 2 tablespoons olive oil |
| Marinara sauce, warmed, for serving |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Lightly grease a baking dish with canola oil. Then place the chicken breasts inside.
- Combine the Italian seasoning, Parmesan, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, ricotta, and salt. Stir until well combined and creamy.
- Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the top of the chicken breast. Then drizzle the olive oil over the ricotta-topped chicken.
- Place the baking dish into the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
- Transfer the ricotta chicken to serving plates. Serve with a side of marinara sauce. Enjoy!
